Silent Night 10 × 10cm wood panel.
A quick update about what I’ve been working on and some new additions to my website and Etsy shop.
I’ve been beavering away at some small, 10x10 cm wooden panels. These colourful little landscapes began life back in the spring with my 100 day project, (I painted a 100 landscapes, 1 a day for 100 days!) and have developed into these little, 3 dimensional chunks of art. There are 12 currently available in my web shop and probably more to come since I,ve enjoyed painting them so much.

Of course, Christmas is on the horizon and anyone who knows me, knows I love it, and especially the build up, it always puts me in the mood to make some festive bits. As I did last year, I’ve painted a handful of wooden slices, finished with resin, some with little abstract landscapes and some wintery scenes too. Perfect as a token gift, for hanging around your home or on your tree.

My next project is to finish this bigger piece which I started last autumn. Since I can only paint the season I’m currently in, I’ve been waiting for autumn to come aound again to finish it and now we’re dangerously close to a covering of snow here Bergen and the possibility of having to wait another year 😬😵💫.
Hoping to finish this before winter arrives and all I want to paint is snow.
